Art is cool, but so is being profitable enough to pay bills and grow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If 300 people each earn me $100/year from commissions/other, that’s enough to live on and blog fulltime with, investing in higher quality visual art, writing, site design (community tools?), etc. The more friends you share the blog with, the easier that is to accomplish, probably need 5-10x that number of people who regularly follow the blog to get that many who want to support it that much (on average). As the blog grows, I’ll put more effort into this page 😉
Poetry collection I self-published in 2020. The paper book is far superior to the eBook, which couldn’t be formatted to look right for poetry due to the variety of screen sizes and whatnot. However, I make about $1.20 per $7 book if memory serves, so if your main objective is to financially support, please donate, and leave a note saying what you’d like to see more of 🙂
