Polar Pirouette

Two icebergs in the night, chilling each as we pass by,
No tears unfrozen for the love that only went awry.

You've your pride and I my morals;
We've had our joys -but to the point- our quarrels.

So drift away don't chip my ice,
Keep on listening to your own advice.
I'll show you! My heart's in a rigor mortis vise;
We can both afford the ultimate price.

Two icebergs in the night, ice spike blankets further wrapping,
In a dance with no steps, to the sound of one hand clapping.
